In early June 2026, we took our Darling-Dog, Beertjie, to this vet. We were seen by Dr George. 1st Expensive examination = wrong diagnosis, wrong medication. Week later, we rush back, dr George again. 2nd expensive examination, the shocking words: we have to do mercy-killing, nothing we can do for him. Afterwards, we contact Professor at Onderstepoort. Beertjie might have been saved. I phoned, spoke to Dr Meyer, the partner, to tell him this. He lost his patience with me. But said he understands my heartbreak. Dr Meyer: does your Angel sleep in your bed, do you hold him at night, do you talk to him like he's human, do you love him the same you love your kids? If you do, then I believe you understand. I am completely broken since 22 June 2026. To my Beertjie...I dedicate this song to you: The Biggest Lie (by Black River Whiskey)
